We seek to engage our community and beyond through service and financial contributions, corporately as a church. But also, many of our parishioners individually assist in various community organizations and projects as volunteers -- in schools as tutors mentors and coaches, with the Little League, in assisted living homes for elders, soup kitchens, as well as local charities.
Currently, we are involved with Bethlehem House, Abandoned Babies and Children in Kenya, East Africa; Buen Pastor Community Center in San Pedro, the Dominican Republic; and have granted a scholarship to Bromley Mission, an all-girls school in Liberia, West Africa, among others.
During this year's Anniversary celebration parishioners accompanied by the several of Confirmation participants gathered to serve meals at My Brothers' Table, a facility that serves lunches to the homeless delivered food items donated by parishioners.
During the second half of 2010 the Parish Outreach Committee met to reorganize and breathe new life into our outreach efforts. A brochure detailing these and other efforts can be viewed here.

EDUCATION AND FORMATION PROGRAMS
1.Sunday School for ages 3-15, held at 9:00 a.m. There are four age groups, with older youth as helpers. We are recruiting additional volunteers.
2.Confirmation Program - At the moment we are using "I Will with God's Help," based on the Baptismal Covenant, using parents, grandparents and other adults in the congregation as mentors to the young people. The Program begins with a meeting of participants, parents and mentors on Saturday, October 1 at 2:00 pm and should culminate with the Confirmation Ceremony by the Bishop early next year.
3.Adult Formation includes a mid-week Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the parish office. We're studying the ACTS OF THE APOSTLES in the Bible.
